Chesham Bowling Club

Chesham have had a week of losing friendlies, starting with a mixed fixture  away against Broomwade scoring 98 shots to 128. The winning rink was Eileen Perry, Jackie Bateman and David Sills. 

The club travelled to Desborough (Maidenhead) the next day but due to heavy rain the game was played on their indoor rink,  resulting in a defeat by 37 shots, 102-139, winning rink Jean McNab, Geoff Parr, Peter Horton and Pat Rodgers. 

Chesham hosted a team of three ladies triples from Kings Langley, again losing 42 shots to 56, our best triple being Brenda Waterman, Toni Nightingale and Molly Young. 

The three remaining club games last week were cancelled, two due to rain and one when the opponents could not raise a team.
