The Clubhouse is being set up for the Race Night tomorrow evening.
Hi everyone,
Thanks so much to everyone who's booked for Race Night! It's looking to be a fun and successful evening with a great turnout. To make sure you have plenty of time to get settled, get a drink, and browse the race pamphlet before food and the first race, please try to arrive before 6:45 PM. Please let me know your food preference if you haven't done so yet. Looking forward to seeing you all there! Thanks Helen 26 Members recently enjoyed a 4 day break at the Warner Coast Hotel in Bembridge, Isle of Wight. 5 Chesham Rinks competed in the Weekly Indoor Tournament with 24 Teams initially playing 4 one hour games. The four of Geoff Denham, Delphine Brown, Trevor Bateman and Alan Cohn were the only Rink to reach the later stages losing in the Semi-Finals to the eventual winners from Dartford in Kent.
The visit included a day out in the coach around the island taking in the stunning scenery and stopping off for refreshments and shopping aided by very interesting and informative commentary by our local driver. Thanks to Geoff Denham and Helen Southwood for making the arrangements at fairly short notice. Hi Players,
Just a reminder about tomorrow's short mat roll-up. Because Chesham A has their final league match of the season, could we please start at 13:30? This will give us two mats until 14:30, at which point the bar mat will be needed for the league game Many of the players and organisers will be at Bembridge, Isle of Wight.
Steph, Steve, Rob, and Diane have kindly volunteered to open up the club and organize the following sessions:
Please note that the Shortmat Bowls session scheduled for next Thursday, February 20th, has been cancelled. This cancellation is due to Robert, our supervisor, being unavailable on that date and a new boiler is being installed in the clubhouse, which may cause some disruption. Thanks Helen Please see the attached Poster for full details of the forthcoming Race Night. ![]()
