Just a reminder that there is a Vet's meeting at 2pm today, Wednesday, in the club.
Please try to attend as we need as many players as possible. If you are over 62 you qualify and even if you do not have a lot of experience we would still really like to see you. You can also enter the Vet's competitions at the meet. Hopefully see you there, John There is some enthusiasm for starting the Friday night league earlier than previous years.
The idea is to start at the end of April with, say, an hour and a half of bowls, if you wish, followed by a social meet in the clubhouse for other activities, darts, quiz etc. No food is planned but could be arranged. Fish and Chip Supper with Topical Quiz Food Choice will be :- Fish & Chips Battered Sausage & Chips Chicken & Mushroom Pie & Chips Beef & Onion Pie & Chips Vegetarian Pancake Roll & Chips Cost is £12.50 which includes dinner and prizes for the winner of the quiz. The Club Charity for 2022 is scannappeal which aims to raise £1 million to purchase a surgical robot for Buckinghamshire NHS Trust.
