The Animals League starts on Friday 2nd August and runs for 6 weeks through to 6th September (although the last Friday is a Reserve Day in case of bad weather).

The Rules
The first match is next Friday 2nd Aug, 6pm start. 
12 ends, triples - 3 players, 3 woods

Dead/killed end - 2 shots away, no visiting the head, otherwise Standard match rules apply.

We play for 6 weeks. Skips to organise their teams rota. 
£6 entry for all games (i.e you only pay once and please pay your skip and then he will pay Andy R).

Casual wear and bowls shoes. 

Please contact your skip for availability and/or any other problems as he will be sorting your rota.

The Ladies and Gents 2 Wood Competitions, the Beckley and the Dunton, will be held this Sunday 28th July.

The Dunton (Gents) Competition:

• Start Time: 10:00 AM
• Arrival Time: Players and spectators are kindly requested to arrive by 9:30 AM to assist in setting up the rinks.
• Markers: We hope there will be enough people to serve as markers for the first round. As per usual practice, the first-round players will be expected to mark subsequent games.

The Beckley (Ladies) Competition:

• Start Time: Approximately 12:30 PM (following the conclusion of the Dunton competition).

Additional Information:

• Refreshments: Mo and Mike have graciously volunteered to arrange tea and biscuits, while Sue and Ray will be organising hamburgers and hotdogs.
• Bar: The bar will be open from 11:00 AM.

Bring your families, friends, or just yourselves for a fun day!
Date: Saturday, 6th July
Time: Starting at 12:00 PM
What's On:

• Delicious BBQ: Burgers, hot dogs, chicken, salads & accompaniments will be on sale.
• Refreshments: The bar will be open for drinks.

Activities planned from 1.00 pm:

• Adults' Target Match: Roll your bowls onto a target mat placed on the rink. Compete for the highest score of the day and win a prize!
• Children's Target Match: Kids can use special children's bowls to aim for points on a short target mat on rink 7. Score points to win delicious sweets and treats!
• Spider: A spider model is placed at the centre of the green. Everyone rolls their bowl simultaneously from the edge of the green. The bowl closest to the spider wins a prize!

Special Event Match:
Persuade a novice friend or family member to join you on the green!
Form teams of pairs or triples, combining your skills with those of novice players.
Join us for a day of food, drinks, exciting matches, and good company!

To accommodate those eager to watch England's football match at 5pm, all organised bowls games and matches will conclude by 3:30pm. However, anyone who wishes to stay a little longer to play and continue to socialise is welcome to do so.
