Due to the Christmas Lunch being rescheduled to Saturday, 7th December, the Social Committee felt it would be challenging to prepare for both this event and the Monthly Social Quiz Night originally planned for the evening of Friday, 6th December. As a result, we have decided to reschedule the Social Quiz Night to Friday, 29th November. We hope this adjustment doesn’t cause too much inconvenience and look forward to seeing you there. Additionally, for those unable to attend the Christmas Lunch due to its new date, and by popular request, we will be hosting a Friday Night Christmas Party with Buffet on Friday, 13th December. The evening will likely include a short quiz, music, and festive activities. More details will follow closer to the date. The corrected date for the lunch will be Saturday, 7th December, instead of the 15th December as previously published in our calendar. Unfortunately, we were reluctant to cancel the caterers for the 7th as at such short notice, we were unable to arrange an alternative for the 15th. We understand this may cause inconvenience and are truly sorry for any disruption this change might bring to your plans. Just a reminder—our very first Friday Night Social is happening this Friday, November 1st! We’re starting things off with an open quiz hosted by our very own Quiz Master, Alan Cohn. So brush up on those random facts if you wish to join in! Date: Friday, Nov. 1 Time: Doors and bar open at 6:30 PM, with the quiz starting just after 7 PM Snacks: Feeling peckish? H and Kim will be making delicious toasties (cheese, ham, and tomato) available for purchase.
