Chesham ladies into Final of the Vi Trundell

Chesham Ladies continue their excellent season with a win in the semi-final of the Vi Trundell competition.  Playing against Stony Stratford, both fours had comfortable wins.  Fay Green, June Holland, Sue Faulks and Avril Harland won 31 - 14, and Courtney Harvey, Terri Keen, Charlene Turpie and Sue Springell won 25 - 14.  Chesham now play Bletchley Town at Hazells BC in the final on Sunday 13th September.

In friendly matches this week, Chesham had a good win 117 - 80 shots against Chess Vale, with a top rink of Brian Cox, Lyn Birch, Jean McNab and David Sills 30 - 8.  However away at Desborough Chesham lost 58 - 106, but did have a top rink of Richard Atkins, Margaret Denham and Chris Fillery 14 -10
