Barbara Studwick

Chesham members were stunned to hear of the sudden death of Barbara Strudwick at the age of 62.
Barbara and Tony Strudwick moved to Chesham from Fleet a few years ago and soon became involved in the activities of the club. Tony now manages the superb green at Chesham, and Barbara not only enjoyed bowling – she was a member of the winning Burnham plate team last year and played in this year's Vi Trundell competition – but became a committee member full of enthusiasm and ideas, member of the catering team and organiser of the popular coffee mornings in the winter months.
Barbara also volunteered at the Food Bank in Chesham and helped in the library at St Mary's School Amersham where her grand daughter attends.
Barbara's funeral will be held on Monday 9th September at 11.30am at Amersham Crematorium and afterwards at the Bowls Club.
Club members extend their deepest sympathy to Tony and his family at this very sad time.
