Club Finals Day
Chesham's club finals were played this weekend. This year Courtney Harvey repeated the feat of her brother Nathan last year, in becoming the youngest player to win a club championship, by winning the Ladies Championship. Courtney aged 13 and attending the Misbourne School, won against June Holland in the final.
The men's championship was won by club stalwart Mick Skerry, who beat Nathan Harvey, last year's winner. Mick also went on to win against Courtney in the Champion of Champions match.

In a precursor to her year as Buckinghamshire's Ladies President, Terri Keen invited a team from the County to play against a Chesham Ladies team captained by Helen Fillery. Terri Keen's team won but Chesham did have a top rink of Babs Williams, Toni Nightingale, Delphine Brown and Shirley Gardiner.
