Good run in Tony Allcock Trophy continues
Chesham B team continued their good run in the Tony Allcock Trophy for mixed over 60 fours. They won their match against Banbury Central by 50 shots to 26. Sylvia Warrington, Tony Strudwick, Roger Elliston and Lin Wright won 28 - 13, and Jean McNab, Keith Hewitt, Roy Rodgers and Sue Springell won 22 - 13. In the next round they are at home to Buckingham West End who beat the Chesham A team this week at Buckingham.
Chesham men won their Top Club match against Wendover winning in four of the five rinks. In the two wood Roy Rodgers won 17 - 6, singles David Coles lost 16 - 21, Pairs Howard Cave and Keith Patrick won 21 - 13, Triples Alan Cohn, Chris Harvey and Roger Elliston won 25 - 24 and Fours David Sills, Brian Wright, Geoff Denham and Mick Skerry won 24 - 23.
In the second leg of the Chesham Challenge Cup against Marlow, Marlow managed to overturn a Chesham lead in the first leg by winning on all rinks with an overall score of 98-64.
