Several Chesham teams through to Men's County Quarter Finals
The regional rounds of the Men's County competitions have been completed and through to the quarter-finals this week are Triples, Ashley Ware, Chris Bunce and Frank McCartney who won against Marlow, and Nathan Harvey, Michael Nash and Brian Wright who won against Mick Skerry's Chesham team. Both teams are playing Gerrards Cross opposition in their matches.
Michael Nash and Roger Elliston are also through in the Pairs, having won against Broadway. They play Princes Risborough in the quarter-final.
Also Dave Sills and Mick Skerry are in action this week in the County Two-wood semi-finals.
In friendly matches this week, Chesham won away at Chess Vale. Each side won three of the six rinks, but a top rink of Norman Green, Molly Young, Delphine Brown and Fay Green (33 - 8) helped give Chesham an overall win of 124 - 110 shots.
